Songs We Sing In Church

Songs We Sing In Church

I must admit to loving my local church services, you get a mixture of the old songs and a few from the Spirit of Youth song book.

Are there any songs that you think would fit really well in their song book or have you got any real favourites that you are really pleased to see there already... mine being Angels by Robbie Williams

Songs

We're quite lucky in Reading, we do Spirit of Youth songs every Thursday and every 4 Sundays. Being on the committee, I've even managed to get other songs in like Top of the World by the Carpenters and good old Take That! Really makes a difference to a service. As a Young(ish!) Demonstrator, it really helps lift the vibrations when working.

Songs In Our Church

I agree Jamie, and isn't it lovely to hear people sing out with such gusto as it's a song that they recongnise and you can really feel their emotions lifting...

Hi, I was wondering where i could get a copy of this songbook, as it sounds great and would love to be able to try and introduce some new songs to church.

At The Hopton Center we also use the Spirit of Youth songs, I would like to see some Michael Bubel songs like Home and Lost. Ozzys Dreamer song goes down really well as with the Abba songs
